Every person, young and old, has ‘next steps’ they can be taking with Jesus.
STEP 1:
Believe
Learn how you can be saved and forgiven of all your sins, and have the hope of everlasting life in heaven. You can’t earn it or work for it. Its only by faith.
STEP 2:
Baptism
Once you understand the good news (the gospel) and put your faith in Jesus for Salvation, you get Baptized to show your new faith. Do you want to get baptized?
STEP 3:
Discover VBC
Attend a Discover Class and learn all about the heart of VBC, becoming a member, and take a spiritual gifts assessment to learn how you can serve Jesus at VBC with your gifts.
STEP 4:
Small Groups
Get plugged into a small group! Our small groups meet mid-week in homes where we enjoy food, deeper community with others, and get into God’s Word. True transformation only happens when God’s Word collides with our vulnerability. All are welcome (Christian or seeker who is curious). Learn more about this amazing God alongside other needy people. We all need Jesus equally. Find a small group near you.
STEP 5:
Discover Your Gifts & Serve
One of the ways that we honor Jesus on earth is by serving the church and world with our gifts! We can help you discover your spiritual gifts and connect you to use them to bless others and show the heart of God to this broken world in big ways and small ones.
STEP 6:
Discipleship 101
Attend trainings to learn about our Discipleship Process and discover how to better be faithful disciples, as well as how to grow in making disciples yourself. God wants to use all of his people to reach others, and disciple them into knowing Jesus and growing in Him. You can learn how!

EQUIP Nights
Equip Nights are reoccurring evenings we gather to go deeper into different areas of the Christian life. We will learn and discuss topics like “doctrine” (ex. the Trinity, the Holy Spirit, etc) as well as topics in practical Christian living (ex. Marriage, Parenting, etc.). These are fun, laid back evenings with coffee, Bibles, and willing hearts who are hungry to go deeper and be more equipped as followers of Jesus. Expect coffee, good conversation, and Biblical teaching.
